For those of you who who either attended or helped out with Sol Tryp’s annual psychedelic film festivals…we received sad news today on Laurie Brooks from Dosed 2. She passed on to the spirit world…from a terminal diagnosis in 2018 that gave her only 6 to 12 months to live, she far surpassed that with the aid of psilocybin and Rick Simpson oil. Her story impacted so many challenged by terminal cancer by considering psilocybin and Rick Simpson oil as healing medicines that Western medicine has demonized in the past and is still far too reluctant to consider. The New Mexico Department of Health - Center for Medical Cannabis and Psilocybin will be hosting Listening Sessions to hear from the public their thoughts and ideas regarding the new Medical Psilocybin Program. Each Listening Session will begin with a brief update on the status of the program and the anticipated general timeline for the start of the program. After the update, the public will be able to provide their comments, ideas, and thoughts about how the program should be set up in accordance with the Medical Psilocybin Act of 2025.
